The music is very relaxing. I love the Pan Pipes and Ingapirca to me plays very nice arrangements. This CD is more on the softer side of South American Pan, not the stronger, faster, Traditional music. There is a very nice mix of sounds from Pan Pipes and other various instruments on this CD.
My personal favorite is El Condor Pasa (yes, Paul Simon stole that one and put real dumb ENglish words to it, but here all three movements are included). It's the song that caught my attention at the craft show. I've heard different versions from other Andean Pan groups, but this version is truly the best! The beginning is a beautiful soft haunting flute, then it goes into a more upbeat, light, summer sound. Malankun Wawapa, Chuno, & Alturas are also very good.
